It is with deep regret and sadness that the IICM has to inform our members of the great loss that the IICM has had this weekend. Jim Logue, the Founding Father of the IICM passed away peacefully on Saturday Afternoon.

I know that all Council Members, past and present are in agreement when I say that this is a huge loss to the Institute. Jim was always there to guide, support and he always put the members first.Jim spent many nights reviewing every single exam paper from every pupil to ensure that everyone was marked fairly. Jim gave a large amount of his time to the Institute, without ever seeking anything in return (Apart from Biscuits). Jim was our Rock, always there with friendly advise and good counsel.

I feel honored to say that I had a gentleman to guide me in my early days and I have the upmost of admiration for Jim. I always looked forward to seeing Jim at any event or meeting that we had. He always brought his smile and positive attitude and he is irreplaceable.
